Trading Card Scale
The Trading Card scale serves to define, on the basis of standard and objective parameters, the state of conservation of the asset, expressing it with a numerical evaluation.

Please Note : The card that will be rated 10 in all five parameters will have a full black label. The card with a final score of 10 but which does not have all the parameters 10 will have a regular label. Also if the note N/A  ( Not Applicable ) appears in the certificate , an automatic vote 9 will be given to that parameter . example : Miscut ,  Misprint etc ..... 

If the surface parameter will be less than 5 the print quality parameter will not receive more than 5 .


GEM MINT : 10
Surface: The paper does not show, even if subjected to careful examination, any type of scratch, sign of pressure, abrasion, dulling or traces of tampering. The surface is smooth, shiny, immaculate and free of marks (including very slight lines from the press wheels).
Centering: The vignette is perfectly equidistant from each side of the border, both on the front and on the back (55/45 for both and 60/40 for back ).
Edges: They are exceptionally regular, they do not show any scratches even if subjected to careful examination. There is no record of tampering attempts.
Corners: They are exceptionally regular, do not show any scratches even if subjected to careful examination. There is no record of tampering attempts.
Print quality: The colors are vivid, bright, in all respects compliant with the manufacturer's standards. There are no color spots or blurs. The text has no typos and is present in its entirety.

GEM MINT : 9.5
Surface: The paper does not show, even if subjected to careful examination, any type of scratch, sign of pressure, abrasion, dulling or traces of tampering. The surface is smooth, shiny, immaculate and free from marks (including very slight lines from the press wheels).
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 60/40 on the front and at least 65/35 on the back.
Edges: They are exceptionally regular, they do not show any scratches even if subjected to careful examination. There is no record of tampering attempts.
Corners: They are exceptionally regular, do not show any scratches even if subjected to careful examination. There is no record of tampering attempts.
Print quality: The colors are vivid, bright, in all respects compliant with the manufacturer's standards. There are no color spots or blurs. The text has no typos and is present in its entirety.

GEM MINT : 9
Surface: Compared to the higher grades, very slight pressure points are permissible even if they are detectable only after careful examination.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 60/40 on the front and 70/30 on the back.
Edges: A few small scratches admitted, which can appear in the form of white dots in most cases detectable only under careful examination.
Corners: A few small scratches admitted, which in most cases can appear in the form of white dots detectable only under careful examination.
Print quality: The colors are vivid, bright, in all respects compliant with the manufacturer's standards. There are no color spots or blurs. The text is presented without typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation.

NEAR MINT : 8
Surface: There are no abrasions or traces of tampering. It may have very light scratches, very light pressure points, slight marks from the press wheels, but no traces of tampering (such as ink, restoration attempts or other modifications).
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 65/35 on the front and 75/25 on the back.
Edges: Allowed small scratches in the form of small white dots detectable even with the naked eye.
Corners: Small scratches in the form of small white dots that can also be seen with the naked eye are permitted, as well as minimal signs of wear.
Print quality: The colors are vivid, bright, in all respects compliant with the manufacturer's standards. Marginal flecks of color or blurring detectable under careful examination are permissible. The text is presented without typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation.

NEAR MINT : 7
Surface: May have hairline scratches, light pressure points or slight press wheel marks. Wear may have caused almost imperceptible consequences of roughness.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 70/30 on the front and 80/20 on the back.
Edges: Small scratches visible to the naked eye are permitted.
Corners: Small scratches visible to the naked eye and slight signs of wear allowed.
Print quality: The colors are vivid, bright, in all respects compliant with the manufacturer's standards. Allowed small color spots or blurs detectable even with the naked eye. The text is presented without typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation.

Excellent Mint : 6
Surface: May have small and discrete scuffs or scratches, fine press wheel marks or some pressure points. Wear may have caused almost very slight consequences of roughness.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 75/25 on the front and 80/20 on the back.
Edges: Slight scratches, detectable with the naked eye, are permitted. A partial alteration of the color tone is permitted, as long as it is subsequent to production and does not affect the vignette.
Corners: May have subtle indentations, minor dents or gouges, and minor signs of wear.
Print quality: The text has no typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation. Discreet color spots, minimal signs of discoloration or blurring detectable with the naked eye are admitted, provided they are uniform.

Excellent : 5
Surface: May have easily detectable abrasions, minimal and marginal gouges, minor scratches, press wheel marks or some pressure points. Wear may have resulted in slight roughness effects.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 80/20 on the front and 80/20 on the back.
Edges: Scratches detectable with the naked eye are allowed. An alteration of the color tone is permitted, provided that it is subsequent to production and that it does not affect the vignette.
Corners: May have light indentations, dents, print creases, minor gouges or small signs of wear even on more than one corner.
Print quality: The text has no typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation. There may be signs of discoloration or uniform blurring. The presence of not too extensive color spots is allowed.

Very Good - Excellent : 4
Surface: May have noticeable scuffs and scratches, moderate gouges and impressions from press wheel lines. Some pressure points are permissible and the surface is rough with wear but free from obvious wrinkles.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 80/20 on the front and 85/15 on the back.
Edges: Extensive scratches or jagged edges detectable with the naked eye are permitted, as well as impact marks or obvious cuts. A significant alteration of the color tone is permitted, provided that it is subsequent to production and does not affect the vignette. Maximum degree attributable in the event of the presence of heat-sealing indentation marks on the package.
Corners: Minor nicks, dents, print creases or gouges allowed on most corners. There are signs of wear. Maximum degree attributable in the event of the presence of heat-sealing indentation marks on the package.
Print quality: The text is free of typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation. You may notice noticeable but uneven discoloration or blurring. The presence of not too extensive color spots is allowed

Very Good : 3
Surface: It has evident abrasions and scratches, and more or less evident furrows. Maximum attributable degree in the case of small traces of tampering even if detectable following careful examination (such as ink, restoration attempts or other modifications). May have obvious impressions of press wheel lines or pressure points. The surface is rough due to wear, but free from marked wrinkles. Maximum degree attributable in the event of the presence of heat-sealing indentation marks on the package.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 80/20 on the front and 90/10 on the back.
Edges: Extended scratches or indentations detectable with the naked eye are permitted, as well as impact marks or obvious cuts. Maximum degree attributable in case of minimal traces of tampering (such as color/ink dots, restoration attempts or other). A notable alteration of the color tone is permitted, provided it is subsequent to production and does not affect the vignette. Moderate heat-sealing indentation.
Corners: Notable indentations, dents, print creases or furrows are permitted, even on most corners. There are signs of wear. Maximum attributable degree in case of minimal traces of tampering in the form of color or ink dots. Moderate heat-sealing indentation.
Print quality: The text is free of typos and is present in its entirety. Exceptions are copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation. You may notice a noticeable but uniform discoloration or blurring. The presence of color spots is allowed.

Good : 2
Surface: Has widespread abrasions, scratches, gouges or signs of tampering (such as ink, restoration attempts or other modifications). The presence of numerous pressure points, easily detectable by touch, is admitted. The surface is rough after wear with the possibility of evident wrinkles. Moderate heat-sealing indentation.
Centering: The minimum centering allowed is 85/15 on the front and 95/5 on the back.
Edges: Extensive scratches or severe indentations are admitted which may have caused a slight detachment of the edges, traces of impact or evident cuts. There may be discrete but visible traces of tampering (such as ink, restoration attempts or other). A strong alteration of the color tone is permitted, provided it is subsequent to production and does not affect the vignette. Marked indentation from heat sealing.
Corners: Extensive nicks or significant jagged edges that may have rounded a corner are allowed. There are significant signs of wear and possibly visible, albeit discreet, traces of tampering (ink, restoration attempts or other modifications). Marked indentation from heat sealing.
Print quality: The text has no typos and is present in its entirety, with the exception of copies with printing errors common to all copies in circulation. Noticeable discoloration or blurring, even if uneven, is noted. The presence of color spots is allowed.

Poor : 1
Surface: Has severe abrasions, scratches, gouges, creases, tears or signs of tampering, numerous and extensive pressure points. The surface is rough, irregular or even without small portions. Marked indentation from heat sealing.
Centering: May be fully off-center as long as there is a margin no matter how small on all sides and, therefore, the cartoon does not touch any edges*. In no higher degree than this are cards which, rotated on their vertical axis (ie from left to right or vice versa), have an image on the back that is reversed with respect to the front (not including Split cards and similar).
Edges: There may also be serious and large tears, nicks or indentations, detachments of the edges, traces of impact or obvious cuts, even of considerable extension, at the same time. Heavy heat seal indentation.
Corners: There may also be serious and large tears, nicks or jaggies, rounding of several corners, significant detachments of the flaps or compromise of their integrity, significant signs of wear. Heavy heat seal indentation. Print quality: The text may have typos, not be present in its entirety or clearly identifiable in one or more parts. Presence of noticeable discoloration or blurring, even unevenly. The presence of color spots of any extent or entity is admitted. It can present a strong alteration of the color tone even in its entirety
